Moving Cause is a pioneer in Portugal concerning social entrepreneurship as an acting vehicle in local identified needs. MC intends to promote projects which are based in the values of the Millennium Development Goals.

Moving Cause envisions a conscious globalization – a world that responds actively to social and economic changes while preserving diversity and respecting the share of common space.

Our approach is divided in two main areas intervention:

1. Social Entrepreneurship
   • We promote and broadcast projects which concern our mission
   • We train social entrepreneurs in ICT, Management and Business
   • We enhance the sustainability of social entrepreneurship initiatives
   • We  organize and participate in relevant events for development and cooperation
   • We act as a bridge between social ventures and specific target groups
2. Social Conscience
   • We research, reflect and broadcast about the issues established in our mission
   • We create fields of discussion related with the Millennium Development Goals
   • We raise funds for social initiatives
